Important Notes:

If you get an 'Not an valid installer package', please save the XPI file to local disk and open it from your browser

If you cannot install from the links above, please download and save the file biobar-1.5-fx.xpi or biobar-1.5-moz.xpi from downloads.mozdev.org . Then open the file from your browser with File -> Open File -> to start installation.

Please ensure that software installation is permitted by checking 'Allow websites to install software' from Edit->Preferences -> web features (In Firefox). Please also add biobar.mozdev.org to the list of allowed sites.

If installation is blocked by FF1.0, there will be a yellow bar at the top of the page with the text: "To protect your computer, Firefox prevented this site (biobar.mozdev.org) from installing software on your computer ---- Edit Options". Please click on edit options and allow biobar.mozdev.org to allow software installation. Then click on the installation link again.

Uninstalling

Biobar installation on mozilla can be uninstalled in two ways:

First install jslib from Jslib download page. Once jslib is installed, please restart your browser.

Choose the Uninstall biobar option from the main biobar menu. This will open up a uninstall window which will guide you through the uninstallation procedure.Please note: You must have the right privileges to uninstall biobar.

Extension uninstaller is a plugin for mozilla/firefox that needs to be installed from this location. Once installed, please look under Tools -> Extension Uninstaller and follow instructions.Please note: not all toolbars and extensions show up using this plugin.

If you are using mozilla 1.6 or below, its time to upgrade !!

For Firefox versions 0.8 or below please download Extension Uninstaller. For firefox version 0.9 and above, you can uninstall biobar from the Tools -> Extensions menu of the browser.
